$500-$900 Looking for Room/Roomate Manhattan Area

Hello, i'm a 23 year old professional male that recently found a job in Manhattan near Times Square. I'll be starting April 17th, so hopefully we can work something out.

What kind of place i'm looking for: Something that is close to a train/subway, within a couple minutes walking distance. I'd like a decent sized bedroom with an actual kitchen and living room area. I'd like to be able to keep a car near me, so dedicated parking would be a plus, but not neccessary if everything else fits.

I don't mind riding the train/subway for up to 30-40 minutes if I have to, but the place has to be pretty comfortable, a place that I would consider worth the extra travel time. Obviously, the shittier the place is, the less of a commute I can tolerate. Riding 50 minutes on the subway to a piece of shit hovel isn't exactly thrilling.

What kind of people i'd live with: I'd like someone who is reasonably clean and organized. I have lived with both males and females, but I found living with a female works out better. I actually have to be a gentleman, and that's reflected in my living habits.

Having similar interests is a plus, but if we're different, being tolerant of each others hobbies/activities is required. I won't make fun of you for being emo if you don't make fun of my fantasy novels.
