Philosophy

I've pretty much gone through life convinced that I see things differently than most people. You know, I just understand the way people work and the way people think, mind you, not on an individual level but as a society. I see things that other people don't. Not literally like ghosts and shit, but just in general on every argument causing argument you can think of.

And really, i'm not going to share any of my viewpoints with you today, because I understand them at a level that I can't even put into words. Not sure if i'm even conveying my point right now. Things just click for me. When they click, I understand, then I spend the next week, month or years figuring out how to word them in such a way to convey what I understand.

But anyway, that's not the point. You don't have to understand that part. Philosophy has taught me one thing though, and that is to question. So then, does me thinking that I see things differently from people mean that I really see things differently from people, or is it a part of being a human being to think that s/he thinks differently from other people? In other words, does everyone out there think they're better than everyone else?

So then, if thinking that you think differently from other people is just the thinking of all people, does thinking that what you thought about thinking differently from other people is not the proper way of thinking mean that you are above thinking like other people and now in fact do think differently?

Because if that's the case. I think i'm better than you.

Think about that.
