Clubbing is hard.
I went clubbing twice this weekend. TWICE. Both times I went with completely new people that I never met before (except for the person who invited me). I must say, it was really refreshing meeting those people. Every once and a while I need a change of pace, go out enjoy life.
Friday night's clubbing adventure: If I did drugs, I should have done it friday night. I swear, I saw possibly every person I have ever met since coming to Drexel. Ok, that's maybe an overstatement, but I can confidently say I saw a representing member from each of the groups that I throw people into when I met them.
These groups are the Koreans, the Commuter lounge asians, the asian sorrority girls (sometimes lumped together with the Koreans), the random I met them one time before group, and even, yes I do dare say, the GCC Church group.
It was a trip seeing all those groups together at once. I danced a little, felt awkward dancing with the people I never met before, still did it, but I did spend a fair amount of time wallflowering. It was great because it was like a reality show, where I knew all the people, and I could place the camera view anywhere I wanted to at any given time.
Saturday night's clubbing adventure: My friend calls me up to go clubbing. I was hesistant, since I already went yesterday. He then says his friend called him and invited him to go clubbing because he didn't want to be the only guy there with a group of girls. I say fuck yea i'll go. I'm pretty sure those were my exact words.
So we get to the club and my friend pretty much just flakes out and leaves me with a group of random girls and a guy that I just met. He was cool, and the girls were all very friendly, but still, felt awkward. But, since all the girls were pretty, i had a great time. Pretty girls are to me like kimchi is to korean people--it just makes everything better.
So, i didn't get to sleep until 8 am on saturday morning, so i figure after tonight (saturday's club shit) i wont' be going to sleep until 8 am sunday.
Nocturnal again, insomnia over.
