For those that still don't understand why my favorite color is purple, here is an excerpt from Community MX:

Of course, i'm not going to make virtuallyinfamous.com all in purple. I just personally like purple, and if I can find ways of adding a little purple in, I will.

But I like neutral colors. They don't give any feeling. The purpose of my webpage is first and formost (and always will) be to display the works of my friends and internet peers. It's not really to display some super graphical awe inspiring web design.
