Life is funny. Today is Matt's birthday (So happy birfday matt!). And well, it was someone else's bday (so happy birthday someone else!). Anyway, i digress. There's was/is a party at Das House right now. I come home from the other birthday to Matt's birthday to find the house swarming with people. And matt is engaged in an intellectual conversation about artificial intelligence and human evolution. Well, Matt was vigorously defending that artificial intelligence can never be considered human evolution, but I digress again.
Basically, the party is goin down, and these four random guys just roll up and ask if they can come in and chill. James takes the situation and invited them in. We watch them for a while, and they turn out to be pretty cool. They aren't causing any trouble and the one guy actually freestyles, so Matt had a grand time spittin with him. Life is funny like that. Random people from the streets one day, and who knows, maybe we'll see them around alot from now on.
Went to alot of friend's blogs this past week, cuz you know, bored with nothing else to do at 5 am. I noticed alot of people are doing weekend summaries.
Ok, I know that ¿MyStiFieD? Weekend summaries aren't the the most unique thing in the world, so I can't accuse anyone of intellectual copyright infringment, but I can't help but be suspicious/smug that people have adopted my writing style.
Before i started doing it, it seems most people were writing their summaries in a paragraph summary:
Friday, I did a bunch of crap, then saturday I did a bunch of crap, then sunday I did a bunch of crap.
Now everyone seems to have the weekend summary style:
Friday: Found out these people write like me.
Saturday: Wonder why that is so?
Sunday: Being big headed or maybe i'm really influencing people?
I guess the best way to check would be to go back to the first time I ever wrote a ¿MyStiFieD? Weekend Summary and cross triangulate the dates in which other people started using the same format (Yes, i made up cross triangulate). That would be the best way.
Knowing me though, some person will come up with a date earlier then mine which used that format, thereby discrediting me of all influences that I may have achieved. So, forget it, I rather not know. It's not a big deal, i'm not mentioning this because I don't want people to copy me. It's just that it feels good to know that I may be affecting people's lives.
And that's all I want really.
