Microsoft donates for your addictions

God may be killing kittens, but Microsoft makes it better.

Microsoft is really trying to get people to use their products. First they work it out with paypal to give users cashback for using microsoft search. Now they're donating to charity for Hotmail and Messenger usage.

I'm on board with these ideas but didn't think it was worth posting about until I got wind of the I'm Initiative. It's great for Microsoft, they get a chance to boost their users. It's great for users, they get money back for doing what they already do (consider cashback credit card + MS cashback). And now with I'm, you get a warm little fuzzy feeling whenever a guy in Peru mistakes you for a girl and hits on you in Spanish.

What? Am I the only person this has happened to?
